Bio

Tarang is a Mathematics and Engineering student from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. He will begin his PhD in nonlinear partial differential equations in 2026.

Tarang’s academic interests include real and complex analysis, linear algebra, vector calculus, and differential equations. He is particularly drawn to the intersection of abstract mathematics and real-world systems, often applying computational techniques to explore and solve complex problems. In addition to his mathematical work, he has experience in systems programming, web development, and cloud computing, with a focus on performance and optimisation.

Tarang also teaches university-level mathematics and embedded systems, where he enjoys helping students build confidence in problem-solving and develop strong conceptual foundations. His teaching reflects a deep appreciation for clarity, structure, and the broader relevance of mathematical thinking.
