Bio

Saúl is a master’s student in pure and applied mathematics at the Institute of Mathematics, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His research interests focus on applied differential equations and since he worked at the Central Bank in Mexico (Bank of Mexico) he is also interested in the intersection of programming with financial modeling. He graduated with honors in mathematics, having contributed to a research article on biological neural networks. Currently, he is exploring the application of neural networks and machine learning techniques to problems in finance. Finally, he is passionate about languages, music and cinema.
