Damaris is a physicist turned interdisciplinary thinker with a passion for understanding how people—and the universe—work at their core. After completing a master’s in theoretical physics and leading various research projects, she moved into finance and innovation, eventually becoming a startup consultant. Her frustration with irrational decision-making in entrepreneurship (and beyond…) sparked a deep dive into human cognition, decision theory, and eventually the nature of consciousness. Damaris now explores the intersection of physics, cognition, and philosophy, aiming to uncover foundational patterns of reality and mind. She is especially drawn to frameworks like ruliology for their potential to unify complex systems across domains. When not immersed in abstract theory building, she enjoys going for walks, delicious coffee, long quiet nights in the library, and asking people what happens inside their heads.
