At the time of writing, Carlos is a second-year BSc Economics student at the University of Warwick, UK. Born and raised in Trujillo, Peru, he holds his high school’s record for the most IGCSE A*s and the highest International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme score. He came across the Wolfram Language when he received an undergraduate research grant, scoring the highest amongst all applications in Warwick’s Department of Economics. By coding graphic visualisation tools for 23+ topics in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, Carlos helped students build their intuition independently from the class material. Students at Warwick and increasingly more institutions can now freely explore how the changes in the direction and magnitude of different variables lead to changes in the relevant functions and points of equilibrium. Through his content creation channels, he is enhancing pedagogy in economics and applied mathematics, providing revision guides and worked solutions to problems, and promoting the use of the Wolfram Language to undergraduate and high school students.
