Bio

Ukasha Hamza is a PhD student in the Department of Chemistry at Louisiana State University (LSU), where his research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence and computational tools into chemistry education. His current work explores the use of Wolfram technologies and large language models to enhance student learning, conceptual understanding and engagement in chemistry courses. He is particularly interested in developing interactive educational tools that bridge theoretical concepts with visualization and computation. In addition to his research in chemistry education, he has interest in statistics and computational approaches for teaching complex chemical concepts. Outside of research, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling and engaging with literature and philosophical ideas about human existence.
