Bio
Paula Botella Andreu is an interdisciplinary creator and researcher whose work bridges landscape design and the performing arts. After working in international humanitarian cooperation with organizations like UN-Habitat, her experiences in crisis landscapes prompted a transition into fine arts and contemporary dance. She is currently finalizing her PhD in urban sustainability, landscape and heritage at UPM, while actively teaching and working in Buenos Aires. Her artistic practice focuses on videodance and community spatial interventions, highlighted by recent projects like Arqueologia del paisaje islamico or El gesto de portar agua. By seamlessly combining landscape design and choreography, she effectively reactivates our physical and emotional connection to the environment.
