Bio
Julian Jacklin is a secondary math teacher in Brooklyn, New York, with interests in data science, causal inference and higher education. His work has largely involved leveraging statistical methods to better understand undergrad admissions systems—focusing on structural topic modeling, latent cluster analysis and propensity weighting. Julian earned his BA in mathematics from Reed College, in sunny Portland, Oregon. Outside of work, you can find him playing squash, bouldering, writing poetry and spending time with friends.
