Bio
Jhoan Saldarriaga is currently in his final year of study in electronic engineering at Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. He is engaged in the parametric design and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of bio-inspired microdevices. His previous work includes the development of educational software aimed at teaching finite state machines and the creation of interactive prototypes for quantum computing. Jhoan’s scientific interests span computational modeling, biophysics, complex systems, STEM education and quantum computing. Upon graduation, he intends to pursue graduate studies that will further integrate algorithmic design with physical simulation.
