Bio

Hugh is a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen. He studies the mechanisms that allow developing embryos to form robust patterns, using a combination of mathematics and computer simulation. He is developing a Julia package for simulation of reaction-diffusion systems and is interested in a range of mathematics, particularly complex analysis and PDEs. He occasionally plays the piano and even more occasionally the pipe organ.
