Bio

Alexandra is a second-year PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, working in noncommutative algebra with a focus on non-Noetherian rings. Before beginning her PhD, she completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Manchester. Outside of mathematics, she enjoys reading and traveling and has recently taken up running.
