Bio

Benjamin is starting a master's program through the Global Innovation Exchange, completing a degree in technology innovation from the University of Washington and a degree in the engineering of data science and information technology from Tsinghua University in Beijing. He graduated from Denison University in August with a BS in physics and minors in math, music and geoscience. He is interested in technology innovation, documentary filmmaking, music production, social entrepreneurship, East Asian philosophy, linguistics, backpacking, travel, humanitarian work and theoretical physics.

Project: How to Save the World

Goal of the project:

The overall goal of the project was to save the world through data science. Specifically, the intention was to create an interactive demonstration harnessing the data for each country reflective of its current state of development and health and provide a resource to discover NGOs that do work in related areas in that country.
