Project: Automatic Image Straightening

In photography, the straightness of an image is usually subjective. Text on pages is usually less subjective in the sense that text is aligned horizontally in documents. The purpose of the project is to detect key features of images in order to identify the deviation of the image from the axis and correct it.

The differences between text and landscapes can be detected by the Classify function. The straightening method will correspond to the key features within each type of image (text or landscape).
