Project: Surfaces classification based on the RGB data obtained from pictures

The goal of this project is to create a surface index dataset with roughness and details based on the RGB data from each kind of surface. The image processing tools available in the Wolfram Programming Language will be used to make an interpolation from RGB to X, Y, and Z coordinates. These tools will also help to eliminate the smooth variation and focus in the small scale variations. An example of the image interpolation is shown below.

Then, a search for specific patterns both in RGB data and interpolation graphs will be performed, which will be used to identify a texture and differentiate it from the other ones.
