Bio

Jesse Nochella has been in the NKS orbit for several years and is participating in the NKS Summer School for the third time. He is now an employee of Wolfram Research. He graduated in 2006 from Mt. Blue High School in Farmington, ME.

Jesse is currently an editor for The Wolfram Demonstrations Project. His interests are user interface design, education, and simple programs research.

Project: Analyzing The Wolfram Demonstrations Project

All source code files submitted to The Wolfram Demonstrations Project were collected and analyzed in order to obtain understanding of this thriving and continually growing community as well as to search for patterns in collective Mathematica programming. Several properties were extracted from each of the Demonstrations to understand global and local characteristics.
