Juan Pablo Varela ("Juan")

Juan Pablo Varela is a 2nd year Applied Physics M.S. student at the University of Massachusetts Boston. His current project centers around the development of a numerical tool which restores smooth functions from noisy integrals whilst maintaining all information. His interests include experimental and theoretical particle physics, quantum algorithms, and the study of different models from which dark matter and dark energy may stem from. He enjoys hiking, reading literature about the philosophy of science, as well as playing soccer and the guitar.
