Sebastian Bahamondes is a Theoretical Physics M.Sc student at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), with two distinct bachelor’s degrees from the same institution: B.Sc in Physics and B.Sc in Mathematics. During his undergrad years Sebastian won the valedictorian distinction of his physics cohort three years in a row (Matrícula de Honor), a distinction provided by PUC to students who excel in academic performance. His main research interests revolve around theoretical condensed matter, holographic duality (AdS/CFT) and simulations of various physical systems using Fortran, Mathematica, and other programming languages. Sebastian has research experience in holographic duality applied to condensed matter, and lecturing experience from various jobs as teaching assitant in undergrad courses for physics, engeneering and astronomy students (Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, Mathematical Physics, Analytical Mechanics, Vector Calculus).
