Lap Sum is a Biostatistics PhD student from the department of Biostatistics at University of Michigan. His research focuses on developing statistical methods for omics data, in particular, genomics, metabolomics and microbiome data. Prior to his PhD studies, he obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Science (Biostatistics) from the University of Michigan.
