Bio

Originally from Chile, Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Concepción (UdeC). He is currently in the final stages of his master’s degree in Physics at the same institution, where he is studying the Potts model using a reversible and conservative cellular automaton called Q2R. Committed to education and the dissemination of knowledge, Jim has gained varied teaching experience. He has worked as a teaching assistant at the university, taught physics and mathematics in various schools, lectured for the Chilean Navy, and served as an astronomical guide. His primary interest lies in the field of Complex Systems, particularly in understanding emerging dynamics.

Project: Exploring the Dynamics and Growth Rate of Neighbor Dependent Substitution Systems using Cluster Size Entropy and Mean Square Displacement.
