Bio

Jill is a physicist and an entrepreneur. She is co-founder and president of Twinleaf LLC, a company focused on developing extremely high performance quantum magnetic sensors for a variety of applications. She is vice president of Nova Photonics, Inc, where her main focus is magnetic field plasma diagnostics. Her work includes a system to be installed on ITER, the international collaboration with the ambitious goal of demonstrating a burning plasma on the path to controlled fusion energy. She is deeply interested in sustainability, clean energy and in preserving the natural environment. She took a lead role in the design and acted as a general contractor for the construction of her net-zero home. She earned a PhD from Princeton University’s Program in Plasma Physics. In addition to her work, she enjoys spending time with her family, and in nature.
