Bio

Maya loves math and computer science. She has enjoyed participating in math competitions as well as participating in two summer math research projects. One was about computing the supremum of sets of rational numbers represented using finite automata and the other was about which numbers can be represented as the sum of perfect squares. She also started a club to encourage younger girls to continue to be excited about math. In addition to math classes such as Calculus II and Discrete Math, she has taken programming courses and machine learning courses. Her other hobbies are music and learning languages.
