Bio

Currently studying chemistry here at Brown University, I have interests in crystallization behavior and application of useful metal-organic crystals to surfaces. I am currently beginning my second year under the guidance of Prof. Brian Moulton. I am a native of the Buffalo, New York area and have a background in materials science and engineering (BS and MS from Alfred University in upstate New York).

Project: Continuation of the Two-Dimensional T’s Problem

At one of the Summer School live experiments, Brian Moulton suggested the investigation of crystal growth where the primitive was in the shape of a T. The live experiment proceeded by investigating the rule space of cellular automata that grow such crystals. This project was to continue that investigation.
