Bio

Zara is a high-school student who is interested in computational biology and bioengineering. In school, she is the captain of a synthetic biology research club (with some publications!) and holds other roles of leadership in various clubs, such as UNICEF, Science Team, HOSA, DEI and AsianPassion Program. Outside of school, she is very passionate about the visual arts, especially drawing, and has worked in an art studio as a teacher. She is continuing her love for bioengineering as an intern in a research lab. She also enjoys playing squash and spending time outdoors.
