Bio

Yana is passionate about computer science, physics and mathematics. She enjoys programming in Java and the Wolfram Language and competing at USA Computing Olympiad competitions. Yana is on her school's varsity tennis team and has been playing piano for over 11 years. She also enjoys playing chess and has won first place in multiple chess tournaments, including the grade-level state championship. In her free time, Yana enjoys painting, reading and learning German.
