Bio

William Zhu is a graduating senior at Newport High School, WA, and a rising Freshman at UCLA. He is passionate about physics and anything to do with space development. He also enjoys learning about a wide variety of topics, including economics, history, and philosophy. During high school, William served as the president of his school's astronomy club. Leading the club's officers along with students from other high schools, he also founded a space science competition called Future Beyond the Atmosphere. William plays golf for his high school varsity, and he likes to ski in winter. Outside of school, his biggest passions are listening to classical music and playing piano. As such, William hopes to program an artificial intelligence that analyze emotion within piano pieces and compare his own interpretations with that of the A.I.
