Bio

Aparna Kumar is a rising junior at High Technology High School. Currently, Aparna is interested in physics, neuroscience, robotics, and research. She has taken classes such as AP Physics C Mechanics, AP Physics C Electromagnetics, neuroscience as part of the Columbia Science Honors Program, and Principles of Engineering that have helped her expand on her interests. She is also a graphic designer for Curious Science Writers, an organization in which students publish professional - level science articles and graphics. Additionally, Aparna is a Girl Scout who is working towards her gold award. In her free time, Aparna likes to read, dance Bharatanatyam (a form of classical Indian dance), figure skate, and play the piano.
