Bio

Hee Jae is a rising senior attending the Texas Academy of Math and Science in Denton, Texas. Ever since she was little, she has always loved working through math problems, and she took this passion to compete in various competitions: Hee Jae is a five time AIME qualifier and has represented her school at national competitions such as HMMT and TAMU, enjoying to meet fellow math nerds who share similar interests. She is also a music enthusiast, starting the cello and the piano at a young age. Hee Jae is a member of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (Philharmonic) and performed as the principal cellist for the TMEA All Region Orchestra. She holds pride in qualifying for the prestigious TMEA All State Symphony Orchestra as a sophomore and loves to play for elders at nearby nursing homes with her quartet. Hee Jae loves to learn new coding languages in her free time as well, and she has experience coding with a numerous array of languages such as HTML, C++/C, MatLab, and LabView, and she is excited to learn more about the Mathematica language through the course of the camp.
