Bio

Ethan Bogle is a rising Junior at Stanford Online High School. His primary subject of interest is pure math, but he is curious and likes to learn about and discuss any topic. In addition to being part of the Competition Math Club, the Math Modeling Club, the Competition Physics Club, and the Latin Club, Ethan is the founder and leader of the OHS Jazz Band at Stanford Online High School, which uses experimental software to allow musicians to play music synchronously over the internet. Ethan was a member of a Finalist team for the High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling 2017 and also received an Honorable Mention on the USA Physics Olympiad Semifinal. Outside of academics, Ethan's primary activity is playing jazz and classical piano and composing. He plays in several jazz groups, and has performed at both the 2017 and 2018 Twin Cities Jazz Festival.
