Bio

Rishabh Mohanka is a rising junior at Suncoast Community High School. He is the president of both Suncoast High School's Science Honor Society and the physics club, while also holding the positions of co-president of the Suncoast High School Business Roundtable Club and secretary of the economics club. He strives for academic excellence as well; he has completed nine AP courses so far while also taking college classes such as astronomy and discrete math at local universities. He loves reading and thinking about the future, as he is always trying to come up with new ways to improve people's lives and their understanding of the universe through scientific research and product development. Some of his favorite books include Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid, by Douglas Hofstadter; Things Hidden Since the Foundation of the World, by René Girard; The Phantom Tollbooth, by Norton Juster; and Seeking Wisdom: From Darwin to Munger, by Peter Bevelin. Rishabh loves solving calculus problems and physics problems. He's also an avid programmer with a deep passion for machine learning. He is extremely interested in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, quantum computation and astrophysics. He hopes to become an entrepreneur and physicist.
