Bio

Pierce Forte is a rising senior at Blair Academy, a boarding school in New Jersey. In addition to cofounding the peer tutoring program at his school, he is passionate about community service and seeks to help others. Pierce led a STEM initiative in Zimbabwe last summer, where he introduced poorer children to the sciences and methods of maintaining better food security. In the summer of 2017, he worked closely with an engineering professor at Swarthmore College to develop a device that will allow disabled people to receive immediate help. In school, he is particularly interested in math, physics and computer programming, and he hopes to study mechanical or aerospace engineering as he continues his education.
