Bio

Alfredo Gomez is a rising senior at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois. He enjoys mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and learning languages. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is learning Japanese. He has experience coding in Java, Python, JavaScript, TI-BASIC, C++, Google Apps Script and HTML/CSS. Alfredo is the captain of his school's robotics team, a leader in the SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) and an active member of his school’s math team, science Olympiad team, computer security club, Japanese tea ceremony club and community service club. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. Alfredo has also held both volunteer and paid positions in his school’s tech center working with the IT department. He plans on double majoring in mathematics and computer science in college.
