Bio

I'm an upcoming senior. I've been homeschooled and have lived in Texas my whole life (I'm sure that deserves a few "sheltered" jokes). I finished calculus in ninth grade and have always loved math, mostly because I really hate not getting the answer to something. I'm thinking about going into engineering, but I'm still open to changing my mind (which I'm told I'll do a lot in college). Besides math and science I enjoy reading, writing, making videos, and especially writing songs (only half of which are about my undying love for female specimens). My brother is the one who told me about Mathematica and wants to hire me as an intern at his company next summer. I'm hoping this Summer Research Program will be a great opportunity for me to learn about Mathematica as well as better my understanding of computer science, math, and all other sciences.

Project: Song Writer

Ever been stuck when trying to write a single line or create a simple melody? Song Writer is a useful tool when trying to break down your writer's block. Click "random line" to get a new line, then click each "word button" to change the sentence until you get some lyrics you like! Next, click the "random melody" button to get a random set of notes (major key if your lyrics have a positive sentiment, minor if negative). You can also adjust the tempo and number of notes as well as pick from over forty different instruments to play your new masterpiece.
