Bio

My name is Paul Epperson and I will be a junior in high school this coming school year. I play club water polo, run cross-country and track with my school team, and cycle. I was Student Council President for over two years at my high school and will be an Eagle Scout this summer. My previous experiences with computers, programming, and technology have been as a Technology Teacher's Assistant, a certified MOUSE Squad member and Tech Help Desk recruit, a Tech Club member as a member of my school's Website Design Club, and working with simple robotics.

Project: River Crossing Puzzle

This River Crossing Puzzle Demonstration allows you to find the solution to the most basic of the historic river crossing puzzles first recorded in the manuscript Propositiones ad Acuendos Juvenes, written by the eighth-century scholar Alcuin. Your wolf, goat, and cabbage must be transported across a nearly impassable river, and the only way to do so is to use a boat to get from one side of the river to the other side. Your boat can only hold the weight of one of these, however, and some of your passengers cannot be left alone with each other on the riverbanks.
