Bio

Amelia is from the suburbs of Chicago and will be a senior in high school this fall. She likes figure skating, travel, and learning Chinese. With luck, she will go on to finish a season of 24 in just a day's time, which remains her (as yet) unfulfilled goal.

Project: Model of an Aquatic Ecosystem

Demonstrates the changes in phytoplankton biomass and dissolved oxygen when initial water content conditions are changed, as well as a prediction for the trophic level of such an ecosystem based on phytoplankton levels and Carlson's Trophic State Index (TSI).
